Did I cheat on my Microsoft interview?

"My experience is a great example of one of the many reasons why the coding problems we use in developer interviews are so problematic: on-the-spot coding is just not a good way to judge technical ability."

The title is clickbait. The cheating is in fact preparing for the interview.

Totally agree with this author that on-the-spot coding is not a good way to judge technical ability. These tests are so anxiety-producing that they can make any person go crazy and struggle. Once he got past this hurdle, he was able to thrive.

"If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

I 100% share that belief - I would love if you took a look at the interview platform I'm launching!

It's at https://scenario.tech - I'm looking for feedback as much as I am customers at this point!

      Thanks!
