My app was in embedded mode earlier but recent browser security updates especially in incognito mode have caused it to break so I switched to standalone mode. I have seen one or two app that work in embedded mode if you are using them in regular browser mode but work as standalone when in incognito mode. Personally, I find standalone mode to be better in terms of managing session.
We are building an embedded app.
We have a standalone app as well but it does not use the Polaris framework but if you go with the Polaris framework, it shouldn't matter whether it is embedded or standalone though I personally prefer embedded. It feels more native.
We have 2 apps and both are embeded.
