Different take on a landing page

Hey Indie Hackers,

I wanted to create a MVP landing page to start developing interest for a physical product I am currently creating. Rather than your standard templates etc. I decided to try something a little different :) - I'd love to see what people think as I'll be iterating on it as the concept develops!

Thanks,

Very cool take! As you develop the prototype more, it might be nice to have sketches from multiple angles. Google the Da Vinci notebooks or something similar for examples of the same concept iterated all on one page.

For the background, the desk fits well with the notebook, but maybe put yourself in the shoes of your audience a bit more. Assuming you're making this primarily for rock climbers, maybe have it on some grass/dirt with some dirt/dust/chalk smudged on the notebook. I don't know when/how you came up with this, but I'm imagining a climber doing so while at the gym or at a rock face.

      Amazing, thanks for the feedback!

I love the template @watsontom100. Did you build the landing page from scratch?

Also, are you serious about making the hangboard? Out of curiosity, how is it different / better than other hangboards?

Sorry for being so slow replying, my notifications got buried in my email :( - yeah I built it from scratch. It's mostly just images but built with Gatsby and hosted on Netlify. And yeah I'm serious about making it :) - the prototype has changed a fair bit since this landing page as I've done more research into how to make it different and better! I'll post an update soon!

Very cool. Looking forward to seeing more.

    Different all right!

Won't it fall easily if you knock whatever hangs from it?

Shouldn't do! As it's based on a traditional doorframe pull-up bar design, though the final design may change as I explore the concept a little more :)

        Got it, good luck :)
