Difficulty creating a new post

Python/Firebase Real-Time Chat Engine Ready (MVP) – Seeking Frontend/Mobile Partner for RevShare (COBREX)

I have just completed the core backend and real-time engine for a standalone chat application called COBREX.

It is built entirely in Python using the Google Firebase Realtime Database SDK. It features event-driven multi-client listeners, asynchronous background threading for messaging, and is fully optimized to be compiled into a single, portable Windows .exe using PyInstaller.

### What is ready:

• Full real-time global message synchronization (MVP).
• Sanitized, clean, and fully documented source code.
• Seamless connection via Firebase service accounts.

### What I am looking for:
I am the creator and backend developer of COBREX. I am now looking for a passionate Frontend Developer, Mobile Developer, or UI/UX Designer to join me as a partner. The goal is to transform this terminal-based engine into a beautiful graphical application (using frameworks like Flet, Kivy, or React Native) and secure it with end-to-end encryption.

This will be a 50/50 Revenue Share (Partnership) project. I have the working foundation ready, and I need your skills to help take it to the market.

it is so hard to understand how to post on indie hackers. I have checked plus version but is no mention about this. any know ??

Hey, a few hours ago I was not able to post, every time I try to post I got the 'infamous' message:
"Sorry, you're not allowed to post this".
Error message without details or reasons why I can't post. It was frustrating and annoying. I thought to leave the platform and build one :)

But since it is a community merits base website, similar to reddit, I knew i need to be active "add comments, likes, bookmarks" to earn the right to publish a post.

A few minutes later, I genuinely added 6 comments, bookedmark a few interesting posts and up voted nice comments and posts.

After that I was able to publish my post 🙌🏼 https://www.indiehackers.com/post/rapidrails-ui-a-month-later-transforming-rails-ui-development-8a02e53b72

So, spend a few minutes engaging with others' posts as you like others to engage with yours. We are a big family rely on each other.

Yes, I also have a similar error, but when a new user interacts with other people's posts, the new user is able to publish posts.

Anyone have an update?

Do this platform doesn't allow new users to be on-boarded or this is just a business model for this platform in order to force users to get the plus subscription?

I am new to this platform and I want to make some post but I am not allowed to do so.
I tried everything like replying in comments, upvoting posts and book marking as well but nothing worked.
Could someone please help me with it?

I noticed Indie Hackers doesn’t have a search bar anymore. Back in 2023, when I was a regular user, we had one, and it made finding posts or starting convos as a new account so much easier. Now it’s a bit tricky to scroll through everything—does anyone know of an alternative way to search the community?

Hmmm..same here. I would expect Indiehackers to actually to explain why we cant post. Showing a pop-up window that you cant interact with is unhelpful to new users and very confusing.

I cant make any post either. It is flashing a message (every time I try to make a New Post on any group) like "We want to feature your story.

It is then giving me just one CTA of Skip Now. If I click on skip now, it doesnt redirect me anywhere :(

I have same problem that I see 'You can't create posts yet.' when I want to post my products.

I've been here around month still I'm not able to post.
I believe Some how indiehacker tries to push people to pay premium fee.
and they say you need to be active to be able to post, Ok how shall I be active while I'm not able to write post??
I'm not sure how it works I found Reddit community more better than this place so far.

Same here. Unfortunately we're trying to launch but have been met with "You can't create a post yet". Not just the product, but blogs posts aren't also allowed.

Got the same problem. If i'm clicking post there is no error. The page is just refreshing.

Same with me, I think it's because of the points. Although I am not a new user, I have been registered for 2 years.

It's our anti-spam filter being super aggressive. It keeps a lot of spam off the forum, but also has lots of false positives. Basically: it's extremely suspicious of new users.

Once you get to 10 points on your account you won't have to worry about it.
