Is there a discord server for indie founders/entrepreneurs?
could be about product, ecom, real estate, traditional business....
i want to join unaffiliated channels which are active but organized.

At $500/year? Seems steep for indies.
The goal now is manageable growth. As communities get too big they tend to lose their character which is something I want to avoid. Higher prices is an easy way to limit the number of signups.
Indie Worldwide is most worth it to someone who's already building a startup (e.g. not just thinking about ideas, actually shipping) and is starting to make some revenue.
At that stage can take advantage of our startup deals to save $1,000's on Software Services (possibly fully covering the cost of membership) and will get the most out of conversations with other founders who can help them save time, avoid common headaches, and grow faster.

I highly recommend the Small Bets Discord community (by Daniel Vassallo) - it's arguably one of the best out there! It's not free though.

I run a slack community for indie makers. We are all indie makers and we help each other grow by giving feedback and support. It's like a much cosier indie Twitter (minus the algorithm XD)
I find Discord too noisy and was thinking of getting a forum going.
Got the basics up and running under forum.codesharegrow.com and just need to start pushing it.
this is nodebb right, i was thinking the same thing. hate discord!!... already subbed to like 20 orgs and each has like 300 channels and all of them getting spammed... just crazy.
