🛠️ How to Install

1. Download or clone the project from GitHub
   👉 https://github.com/yang-shuohao/ip-geo

2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions

3. Enable Developer Mode (top right)

4. Click “Load unpacked” and select the folder where the extension lives

5. Done! A 🌐 icon will appear in your Chrome bar — click to use!

🌐 Why I Built This

I often work with networks, VPNs, or testing across regions, and I got tired of visiting 3rd-party sites for IP info. I also wanted something:

• Lightweight

• Beautiful (dark mode support)

• Offline map rendering

• Privacy-friendly (no external API calls unless needed)

So I made my own — and now I’m sharing it with you!
