Discovery tool for Newsletters, Podcasts, and Blogs

Hey all,

I've begun building something that I don't see a huge market opportunity for, but is something that I would really like to exist...

It's a discovery tool for newsletters, podcasts, and blogs. Each are divided up into categories like Design, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, etc. Entries will be pushed onto a sort of "Trending" section for their category when a greater number of users is clicking though to the entry's link, or "star"-ing it within the site.

I'd also like to build a Recommended panel that uses other users with similar taste and finds you new content to grab.

I've fleshed the idea out in my head, but I wanted to see what the IH community thought of something like this.
