Discussion: Twitter Profile Picture
Hey my IndieHackers friends,
Let's discuss the Twitter profile pic. Should it be a more professional image or a more casual image?
I've been working lately on refreshing my Twitter profile (https://twitter.com/maorofek) as I'm planning to put some effort into my activity there, and I haven't decided yet what's the right approach.

I did mine with Photoroom.
You profile looks professional with a mix of causal. So, good. Imo you can start putting more effort into your images if your profile takes off decently. At first, people will care about what you say, only later they care about who you are.
I always wanted to ask to IH about my profile but thought it's silly to ask. Glad you asked and it's silly of me that I didn't ask.

Here is what works for me:
Followed all your points except for a designer part.
I use this light blue background on my profile here and a one with a slightly darker blue on my Twitter.
Can that be called consistency or atleast acceptably closer?
Why do you use different backgrounds?
I tried to play as an average browser browsing the feeds. This colour looked nice on IH and the darker version looked nice on Twitter.
I'm not picky WHAT it is, but be consistent. Make it your profile picture everywhere and don't change it too often. People get used to it and associate it with you.
