Diving into the digital nomad life 🎒
Hello folks,
I am one of those who enjoy working remotely during the pandemic. I think that this is much more efficient than working in the office all the time. Based on this idea, I made a radical decision in my life. I'd like to become a digital nomad.
This idea has been in my head for a while and it gets me pretty excited. By the way, I am a side-project maker and ofc my new project ideas are affected by the idea.
I am working on a platform with my team so that all digital nomads can travel more easily. I am also making an info product with @Fullmamel for this platform. Thus, we will create resources that digital nomads and those who want to be digital nomads like me can benefit from.

I’ve been a digital nomad for 1,5 years.
I have experienced many different situations. I have travelled solo, but right now I’m traveling together with my girlfriend from Latin America.
Perspective changes a lot, since she has a “weak passport”.
The tools we currently mainly use:
Nomadlist (lifetime purchase 50$): I use it to track the destinations, get inspiration for destinations & connect with other nomads in my area.
Google Flights (FREE): I haven’t found any cheaper tickets than the ones of GF. I only select (multiple) departure airports and 1 destination. Via the calendar I can see exactly when it is the cheapest.
Booking platforms (No subscription needed): AirBnb/Booking/Vrbo/…
I need a place to sleep, and my gf and I do prefer our own space.
Hoodmaps (FREE): to get some good insights to the neighbourhood we’re moving to.
Meetup (FREE): We love connecting with people and we often check meetup. Downside: meetup is dead in a lot of places for nomad events.

Very nice, really like the concept as generating income is a big problem for nomads as they start out and I suspect is a big cause of failure. Once you launch my partner would definitely be interested in this!
