Do follow-ups ever get forgotten, or is that just me?

Quick question for solo consultants / freelancers.

Do you ever realise a few days later that you meant to follow up with a lead… and didn’t?

Not rejection — just silence because the follow-up never quite got sent.

Trying to understand how common this actually is.
