Do frontend engineers want to start businesses?

We built a product to help frontend engineers start SaaS businesses, but it's unclear to us now whether that's a real problem. There don't appear to be many frontend devs who are serious about building a company, they mostly just like to fiddle around with side projects. Is that accurate, or are we just clueless on where to find them? Should we really be targeting full stack folks? Or perhaps low/no-code developers?
We think we could easily write some Javascript that could be dropped into Carrd or Webflow to enhance its capabilities. Maybe that's the route we should take?
Hey, Nilkanth. I think this is pretty badass. I've been kicking around a few similar ideas and am excited to see I'm not the only one. I can't say there is a giant market of front-end engineers specifically, but I would imagine there is. I think there are a lot of people in general interested in creating businesses. I for one am very excited in any technology that makes technology easier and lowers the barrier of entry. I say keep hunting and trying to find them (you're probably starting in a good spot here). There's still a big leap between something like React and a full app, so maybe it's just about figuring out the specific needs there and making that part easier? Yeah, we're struggling to find frontend engineers who are interested in starting businesses. I'm sure they exist, but we can seem to reliably find them in any single community. But I think you're right about lowering the barrier more generally, and maybe we just need to target "makers." There's clearly a lot of them on IH, and perhaps we can find more people elsewhere.
