Do I need to offer a free version?
Hey everyone, we are building a tool called SEOForg, which helps you generate topical clusters and visualize them.
I have been talking to people in the communities, about the tool but, a few of them are saying that I should have a free version for testing purposes, but some of them are saying I shouldn't. I am a little confused tho.
What should I do? Any tips or resources?
If you look at the current trends the freemium subscription model doesn't work the way it should. I would highly recommend using a trial model with the flexibility to extend the duration. It will help your sales team onboard more time and increase your retention rate.
Yeah, I agree with you, also for this subscription model, I talked with a few early customers, and they are saying that I can have a plan just to cover the cost of APIs. Like this, I don't need to give money from my pocket, I will get customers too, thanks again man
