I'm curious: There seems to be a decent number of marketers (from just starting out to well-established) on IH, but I don't see many of them looking to partner to build something.
I can guess at a few reasons, but no clue what the real reason is...
To me, it seems like marketers just starting out would benefit as much as developers in working together. We'd all learn from each other - devs would see the advice they read played out, marketers would be able to apply and refine their knowledge. And, of course, the potential value of an idea built from both skillsets would be higher than just one of them.
Anyone else have any insight?
Yeah you're right, the magic happens when both a marketer and developer love an idea.
Yeah, or have a particular interest in the same niche, maybe?
I think there'd be a huge benefit pre-idea. A dev and a marketer working together to find a marketable idea and build it quickly :)
Yeah that would make the best product cause the marketing should be built into the product, not jammed in later.
