Do platforms count as a NoCode tool?
I'm still new to the NoCode movement, which I think is a great enabler to people creating businesses that previously wouldn't have been able to.
My question is that do platforms that allow people to create their own site, such as a platform like Shopify or Mailchimp count as a NoCode tool? Or would a NoCode tool need to be more generic, allowing users to create more than one type of website, for example Wix, Sheet2Site & Airtable?
I ask because I'm working on a platform that allows users to make their own Job Board without having to code. Would I be able to market this as a NoCode tool, or should I go down the platform route because it isn't generic enough?
Appreciate your thoughts on the matter.
Is it only for job boards? sounds very niche, maybe you should add other options maybe a listing/directory type, rental, reviews, venue booking, etc etc
This is what I've seen with other NoCode tools, they offer a broad range of templates/clones.
I guess that's my question, with the platform being strictly about job boards and no other types of sites is it a NoCode tool. Or does the definition of NoCode tools include the fact that they have to be abstract enough to make more than one site. Or is the definition just that the user can create something without having to write code?
Yes, products like Shopify are no-code tools. Whether it makes sense to promote it as such, like giving it importance in the messaging towards customers is another question.
