It seems that Agile project management approach, having originated in software development, migrated to organizational management practices. It is now employed by corporations to run their businesses in the manner that ensures they are relevant and deliver value to their customers.

Many organizations are on a quest to Business Agility and have ongoing Agile Transformation initiatives. According to13th Annual State of Agile Report, 97% of companies adopt Agile for building software products.

Are software service companies / custom software development companies lagging behind in agile adoption and transformation of their internal processes and operations? Are they ready to support their IT departments in delivering value to customers and responding to changing markets?
