Do they exist: brick & mortar tech gear clubs?

TLDR: Do tech gear clubs generally, and mechanical keyboard clubs more specifically, exist?

For some physical products, you can go to a brick and mortar store to see various options in person, and then find the best price online. But some products can't be found in anywhere close to their true variety in brick and mortar stores.

"But positivejam," you say, "You can order on Amazon and then return/exchange if you don't like it." True, but for some things that is not very practical. Given all the options there are, you could spend a long time going though them, and if you abuse the exchange policy your account can get flagged.

What I want is a place I can go that has a lot of different mechanical keyboards, all configured with different switches, keycaps, materials, etc. so I can find out what I like, without having to buy 3-5 fairly expensive items in order to learn what I like.

Does anyone know of a place in their city that has something like that for keyboards? If not keyboards, other types of tech gear?

If you don't know of anything like that, why don't you think it exists?
