Do you actually know when your startup runs out of cash?

I've been talking to 40+ early-stage founders about their finances. Here's what keeps coming up.

Most of you don't have a CFO. Most of you don't need one yet. But there's this weird painful middle ground where your spreadsheets stopped being enough and a $8k/month fractional CFO feels like overkill.

I keep hearing the same things:

"Revenue is going up but my bank account feels wrong"
"I don't know if I can safely make this hire"
"I genuinely don't know when we run out of cash"
"I'm not bad at business, I'm just bad at reading my own numbers"

I'm building something for exactly this gap. Not going to say more than that yet - BUT I want to make sure I'm solving the right version of the problem before I go further.

If you're a pre-seed or seed founder (SaaS, subscription, agency, B2B services) with no finance person on the team, I'd love 3 minutes of your time.

No pitch at the end. Just trying to understand where the real pain is.

And honestly - drop a comment if any of those bullets hit home. Curious whether this is just the founders I've been talking to or something more universal.
