Hey :) So that's my ask basically, do you feel like subscribing to know more? do you understand what the product does? https://www.palabra.io/?ref=indie
Looks pretty good - would slow the video down or remove it completely. Design was nice and clear
It's clear to me what the product does , from the text above the fold.
I found the video to go so quickly that I couldn't follow it - that might make me click away.
Personally I wouldn't subscribe as I want a very simple email-only sign-up, but I understand what value its offering.
value isn't clear. first I thought I could you use any gmail mail merge such as YAMM instead your product, then after scrolling down I saw that I can embed "something" to collect user mails. Then, again I could segment them to do again "something". tbh, not clear what actual problem you solve and you see how lazy I've been not even checking more + it leaves the sidetaste that you combined not related tools. sending out mails => gmail + any mailmerge for a couple of bucks, segmenting users => cmon that's not so hard just an extra field in Google Sheets, collecting users, just a form field and a db if you are a coder or Google Form + Sheets...
edit: didnt watch the video because it often takes too much time to get the point, so i nevr do this
hey! thanks for your comment. really got me thinking and helped me reshape how I share what the tool does. would you mind taking a look again at the website and share your thoughts? https://www.palabra.io/?ref=indie
Ok, Karen, first KUDOS that you changed the entire thing in such a short time. and the video is now autoplaying, wasnt before somehow.
it's much, much better than before, I guess I know what you are doing. You are just a streamlined and a bit more powerful version than YAMM?!
The only thing from a marketing perspective missing is now to be more punchy. So, people get what your doing now but the question is why yours. "Evolution" of is not enough, I as a heavy YAMM user wouldn't see any benefit and a much higher price and a much worse free version.
btw, check also the others guy discsussion i had with (mailmeteor), i think besides the product the business model and landscape is more of a problem.
however, you seem to be a super fast executer.
may I ask (1) what stack are you using and (2) is working with the google API easy or hard, (3) how did you get into this field?
Hey, thanks for your feedback once again. We'll definitely need to improve what we are offering with the free version. As for the paid version, I think the two biggest differences with YAMM are 1) the possibility to integrate with Hubspot or MailChimp to keep a reference to all communications you had with a subscriber and 2) the powerful filtering. With Palabra you can keep a list of all your subscribers in the same place (whether they come from Hubspot, Gmail or MailChimp) and filter them according to who they are or how they interacted with you in the past. That is something that is hard to do right now with YAMM.
As for your questions: 1) react, node.js, aws, rabbitmq, 2) not hard at all, 3) I started building the tool because I needed it myself.
