Hey there!
Do you find time to incorporate learning into your digital nomad life, so you can keep up with the ever-changing tech landscape and stay relevant?
Some clarification, I'm speaking about actively learning and practicing skills, beyond just passively consuming YouTube videos. Any tips, habits, and frameworks for effective learning would be much appreciated
Honestly at the moment I am finding it hard. I work 12 hour days on my VA business whilst squeezing travel in as a digital nomad. I barely find the time to do much else. However I have decided to join sites like Indie Hackers and Linked In to try and network and learn from others.
Yes, I do find time to learn, but it can be challenging at times. As a digital nomad, striking a balance between work, travel, and personal life can be tricky. However, I've found that learning can often be incorporated into my daily activities. For example, I might listen to an educational podcast while I'm walking around a new city or take an online course when I have downtime at a coffee shop. It's all about finding opportunities to learn in the midst of an ever-changing environment.
A podcast whilst walking the city! What a fantastic idea, I may need to nick that one :D
Absolutely! As a digital nomad, staying relevant and up-to-date is essential for maintaining a competitive edge in the ever-evolving digital landscape. I carve out time in my daily routine for learning, whether it's reading blog posts, listening to podcasts, or taking online courses. By allocating a specific time each day for learning, I can keep my skills sharp and ensure that I'm aware of new trends and technologies. Plus, the flexibility of the digital nomad lifestyle allows me to learn from different perspectives and cultures, which I believe enriches my knowledge and enhances my growth.
Hey Jeremy! (Loved the name btw)
Im curious - do you find time to take online courses?
I personally find it extremely difficult to find time to learn and keep up with the course
