Do you forget birthdays of important people around you?

I'm selectively forgetful. Out of all the things I shouldn't forget, I end up forgetting about the most important things about people close to me. Birthdays, anniversaries, dates, meetings, party invites from friends, appointments, and whatnot.

Over the years, I have used a bunch of things to remind myself. Google calendars, Reminder apps, etc. But nothing has worked or has become a habit that makes me remember all the things far out in the future. Also most of the events, you need to be notified/remembered well in advance and not ON THAT DAY so you can plan better. Also, just like many of us, I try a bunch of reminder apps and then end up uninstalling them without remembering that I have set some important reminders in them or their emails/push notifications reminders just get lost in all the noise of inbox.

So I've built a web app that lets you set reminders quickly and forget about it. No need to install anything. It doesn't send you any push notifications. No emails. You get a text on WhatsApp/iMessage 7 days in advance, then 3 days in advance, and then every day until that very day. It is simple but it just works for me. And I'm wondering if anyone who is like me would find value in it.

I would love to know in the comments if you'd like to try this out. It is free for now. I'm not sure if anyone would pay for this. I would have certainly paid $/month for such a thing if it had existed but nonetheless, I would love to know if anyone who wants to try this out.

Google Calendar does this, and you can set your own reminder schedule for events that suits you.
