I've heard time and time again that you should have a mentor. Someone to bounce ideas off of and gain insight as you move forward in your career.
As I try to navigate the next phase of my career, I've been pondering if I'm slowing myself down by not having a mentor. I've always felt that you needed to have one person that can help you with ALL things. I posted this question on Twitter (https://twitter.com/codeOvrCoffee/status/1278306050022821892) and came to the realization that you should have multiple mentors for each area of your career and personal development.
And if anyone is open to me bouncing ideas off of them about development, lifestyle business and entrepreneurship/solopreneurship, I would love to talk to you.
Yeah, we do. We already knew his startup and just messaged him on Linkedin.
He lives near and got customers from all over the world. Also runs a SaaS business.
DEFINITELY!!
In my first message, I made it clear that I admire his work. I think you should first make it clear that you know a lot of things about your possible mentor and want to meet with them. When you step your foot on the door, then you can ask for more.

Out of the 14 or so people I know that went the startup route, the only ones that hit the 1 million mark had mentors. The rest either have their companies on life support or have failed.
If you're looking for a mentor, we could chat over a short call and touch base.
Add me on Discord if you're interested, I've built 2 successful companies: do#3695
Thank you! I will reach out to you via Discord.
