Do you keep posting to IH or other social media consistently?

In IH, I saw folks posting their sites in posts and comments as a way to increase exposure.

If you are doing so, is that a good strategy to gain exposure and increase your traffic?

Do you set a posting schedule, say, daily or X times / week?

If your goal is to increase traffic to your site, it's not worth it. If your goal is to build relationships with other indiehackers that could be mutually beneficial down the road, it may be worth it.

If you don't enjoy IHs or other social media don't do it. Takes a lot of time and most likely better channels.

Last 30 days I have got 1600 uniques from 232+ posts, I only counted posts that showed up in my analytics.

I post about my story and experience a lot so I included my link for context mostly.

That is 7 posts a day (i post on weekends as well).

Interesting. What kind of analytics tool do you use to track your post?

In IH I can only see views of each individual post. Don't have any aggregate stats though.

We have analytics built into our website builde, so I can easily see how much traffic each post drives and how many posts.

We added events as well so I can even see what posts actually convert :)

          Nice. @volkandkaya

Out of curiosity, how is the traffic from IH compared with other sites?

Did you see the increase after the lockdown? I imagine more people are going the indie route and IH is experiencing explosive growth, which may spill over to your site, so you should see a spike as well.

IH converts a lot less, but that makes sense as I link the product just for content.

Yes we're growing nicely with very little marketing. But we did spend 18 months building something unique :)
