I am looking for managers or business owners who have integrated Whatsapp as a major part of communication with their partners, customers, or clients.
My team and I develop a solution to help such teams automate mundane parts of their work, like reporting and getting relevant insights from work-related chats.

From the feedback I gathered from other teams, Whatsapp is extremely inconvenient when it comes to work-related communication with partners, clients or leads.
I'm looking to discover the details about such communication. For example, if there is a need to find messages or files from it later, report the results or otherwise share it with the rest of the team, etc.
Does it somehow resemble your use case?

We use it for both. Dealing with clients and internal communication.
Not so much with leads, but again I use my personal whatsapp so maybe businesses that use a whatsapp business account have leads coming in via that channel.
Finding messages or sharing I just take a screenshot or forward the message 😁.
For important communications I use email or hubspot.

If your workflow on Whatsapp is flawless it's actually great! This most likely means you're an organized person.
If I may paraphrase your answer, you mean that when you use your Whatsapp for work, it is mostly for operational chats that aren't important enough to care about retaining this information long-term. Say, in 2 or 4 months you wouldn't need to search for that message or document with important detail. Am I right?
May I also ask, what is the size of your team? Do you or someone from your team have the responsibility to report or overview the results of such communication with clients? How does it happen with communication from Whatsapp?

Well not really that organized, I'm scrappy it's different :D
We use whatsapp because it's free and everyone has it.
And yes it's usually operation stuff that I either put in a google doc or sheet for easy sharing or updating or simply discard.
We're a small team of 8 sometimes 12.
So if I understand correctly it would be like a shared CRM for individual whatsapp conversations?
How do you pull the data from whatsapp?

Yes, you got it just right! We call it either the "shared inbox for individual Whatsapp accounts", or "CRM companion" since you may use it with any CRM you like if you already use one.
