This is a great issue, there's a gigantic mental health issue that nobody wants to talk about. I think that the best is to watch out for great Psychology Researchers like Jordan B. Peterson or Brian R. Little.
But if you are searching for a community, The School of Life or Daily Stoic. There are also some great Reddit Channels.
But if you need to talk to people I will recommend you to go to offline meetups about the subject, or maybe start one, I think many will be interested.
What a great question @danr (hoping to check back for other people's suggestions).
I ended up accidentally finding a good community locally (a non-profit in an industry unrelated to my project, but still filled with passionate people who can appreciate mental stress / venting); I decided to volunteer with this community and it massively helps to just blurt ideas out loud with caring folks.
I'm sorry this isn't a helpful answer, so I hope other people contribute answers that are more accessible to online people. If you're comfortable sharing, I'd be super interested to hear where you tried looking for startup mental support / any attempts that worked better than others?
When we moved our office into wework we wanted a way to give back to the community. So we started a movement called Yeah Good Thanks (https://yeahgoodthanks.co/about-yeahgoodthanks/). It was about getting people to talk about their journey to success. Unfortunately, the web designer we used lost everything and the site has fallen apart / looks unprofessional. (If anyone can help to rebuild it let me know). Through this process we fast learned that there are a huge number of entrepreneurs who go through massive ups and downs. I know because I've been through it. Anyhow, the best thing to do is talk about it and share your experiences with others. I honestly think the community on IH is a super compassionate one and everyone here is willing to listen, learn and help wherever they can.
https://zenfounder.com/category/episodes/ I haven't listened to any but heard great things about it.

Co-working spaces are great!

Oh man. Sorry to hear about your web designer. But your about page make me smile. It reminds me of the 90s 😁
