Do you know what my product does based on my site?

I recently got valuable feedback from @unfaintdotcom (thanks again!) and was hoping a few of you would be willing to look over my website for my product and tell me what impressions you get of the product.

https://www.linkstackr.com

Is the messaging clear?
Is the product interesting?
How does the site feel?

If you have a website and want feedback from me, include your link with your thoughts on mine. I'm happy to reciprocate the help!

Thanks in advance!

It took me about a minute or so to understand it, but I think I understand it. For me, there were a couple of things that I needed.

    1. To understand what the problem is. That you may want to link to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, GitHub, etc. etc. and that there isn't enough room to do this on social media sites.

    2. To understand that you solve that problem by letting people put something like links.by/trev in your profile, and that it'll take you to a page with all of those links.

I would focus more on making it clear what the problem is. It took me a while to get it, but once I did, it became much easier to understand.

As for pricing/monetizing, my guess would be that the 99% don't care enough to pay for something like this, but the 1% who are influencers and have large followings would be willing to pay perhaps a bunch of money. If that turns out to be true, maybe you could look to make people pay based on how large of a following they have, and make it free for the vast majority of people.

This is great feedback - highlighting the pain point my product solves for users definitely is important!
I'll explore the pricing model you suggest! Thank you for your feedback!

I'm still not seeing a link in the description?

https://www.linkstackr.com - sorry. I see it there now, but here it is just in case.

    Good work!

I've actually searched for a product that did this (although it was years ago), so I understand the use case.

I saw the Instagram screenshot, but since the Linkstackr link wasn't called out, I completely missed it at first. I wanted to see an example right away. Like "see an example" next to "start now". NOTE: after multiple times scrolling the page, this actually became a video, surprise! Probably my browser settings, but it didn't autoplay for me, so it just looked like a screenshot.

The subheadline and then the copy under the button are competing for my attention, making the second one seem like disclaimer text. In reality, I think the second one might be more clear (assuming most of your customers need it for Instagram).

As soon as I clicked "start now" I felt overwhelmed and would have bailed. Seems like a big hurdle before I know if it is something I want. Could you shift payment to when I am ready to publish? Then I'll have invested in making my page and will be in the right mindset.

I'm not a fan of the underline for emphasis in the "YOUR OWN GROWTH HACK" section. Because the site is about links I assumed they were links. Also, that headline didn't resonate with me, but obviously defer to your target!

For the Features section, I'd probably focus on benefits vs features. Right now that section is pretty dense. I think 3-4 high level benefits with the specific features mixed into the copy might be easier to digest. Same on pricing, the title "Let's keep it simple." is nice, but then the list makes it seem hard.

Hope that is helpful, good luck!

Thank you for your feedback - I can tell you've got a background in UX!

Great note about the video not autoplaying for you, I'll need to ensure that happens.

I have found that most people are interested in using it for Instagram - so pointing that out clearly would be a good idea. My initial thought was that I wanted this tool to be utilized in more places than just instagram (email signatures, social media posts, business cards, etc) but perhaps this product makes most sense out the gate for the Instagram users.

I've toyed around with the idea of letting someone create their own page before paying - I definitely see what your saying as far as it feeling like a major hurdle to get over. I had hoped that the 15 day free trial would help that, but it does take effort to go get your credit card and most people would probably bail at that point. Great idea - I'll implement this idea.

Love your thoughts on the feature section and pricing module! Thank you so much for your input!

Good work on a simple, but useful idea! Here are my thoughts:

If most of the interest is for Instagram users, then IMO "Instagram" should be the first thing on your page. I think the current title "One link to rule them all" doesn't tell me anything really useful about the product. Maybe something like "Share every one of your brand's links on Instagram" with a subheading like "Build a single page with your links in seconds".

As far as the "onboarding" flow - I agree with @hqnetworkamanda, you aren't getting anyone to shell out their credit card details until after they've seen their product. I would make the "sign up/try it" button go to a page where they can list their links, with the link text and URL, then when they can see a sample of the page and want to build it "for real", ask them to sign up. Otherwise you're really asking them to put their credit card details in before they can see what the product can do for them.

        Good luck!

Thank you for your feedback! I've already begun implementing some of these suggestions! I'll let you know when they're live!

It took me a minute to grasp what the product was. Maybe a qualifier when you mention 'Link' would help. Like 'All Your Bio Links In One Place' or 'One Profile Link to Rule Them All.'

One other thing that looked weird to me was the black space that appears above the browser on the mobile demo video, after the user clicks the link? That may just be how it appears in the app you were using, but maybe it would be better to use a different example that doesn't have that black space.

I also would've wanted to see a clear example of what my link might look like right at the top, like the one given below: lnks.by/jamie It's important to me to visualize what I would be sharing and passing around. It would be pretty slick to have a text input right in the hero spot where people could type in their desired URL to see if it's available. Might be a good thing to get people engaged and continue on in the funnel.

Otherwise I really like the site and it's a great product idea.

+1 on the claim your URL idea, that's cool.

Good feedback, thank you! The headliner is definitely tricky to nail down. I appreciate your input on that.

I agree with you on the black space for the video playing up top. I think it'd be great to wrap that video in an iphone device frame too actually. That'd really make it look nice.

lnks.by/jamie is probably too far down on the page. Perhaps I bring that up just under the fold under the header to really help people visualize how it would look. Love the idea with the interactivity!!
