I was just wondering. You can launch your (side)project on multiple places, right? Product Hunt, Reddit, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, Beta List, …
Do you plan your launch on the same day for all of these sites?
Do you launch on one site per day?
Maybe you wait if it gets hot on PH and decide about reddit later?
Nope, never, very bad idea.. you'll never be able to tell how each market does for you...
I launch at one place per week.. Launching more times is better in almost every way. I treat every feature release as a launch as well and repeat the process every time.
Hi Petr, imho PH is your "big gun", you should primarily focus on that (tip: ask someone with a larger followership - and able to submit products directly - to post your project for you. You should easily find one on http://500hunters.com or http://yvoschaap.com/producthunt).
Posting on Reddit/HN/DN on (slightly) different days will allow you to easily stay around and promptly reply to comments and questions (with ranking benefits).
