As indie hackers, most of us sell online but I would like to know what do you prefer. Tell which one do you prefer and why, please. I personally prefer face-to-face but with our product tractific.com and COVID-19, it is not possible :(
I prefer to sell online because I can reach more people for less money, especially when factoring in the cost of mileage, gas, time, lunches, etc. Face to face conversion rates are often more effective, though - even for a lot of online-only businesses, I'd imagine. It's easier to personalize the messaging and communicating in person can build credibility in a way that's hard to mimic behind a screen.
yeah, I agree and it is a lot more fun!
Neither 😁. I don't like doing sales at all. That needs to change if I'm ever going to have a business though.
yeah, it definitely needs to change :D
I still talk to people via whereby or zoom calls -- it's so much more personal. I get to see them, hear their stories, and get that personal connection which helps me in knowing what can I do for them.
