Do you like work from home?
I have been working from home for the last one year. Before I used to work from the office, coffee shop, coworking place. I am kinda extrovert person, so I try to make a chit-chat in these places.
Supprising most of my coworkers says, that they love being home all day and I am very opposite I can not wait to go back to normal life and meet with folks.
How about you? Do you miss work from the office or social places?
I love working from home, I love waking up and within a few minutes, being productive, no commute, no waste of time. I love my 3 big screens, comfortable chair, standing desk, ergonomic keyboard, etc that no employer would ever pay for. I don't miss the constant interruptions when I was trying to do deep work. I love socializing with my distributed team, playing online games, learning about other parts of the world.
For my face to face socializing, I just go out, to events, parties, dancing, meetups.
As an introvert, I love working at home. Maximizing your time to become productive and avoiding traffic is one of the great benefits for me working at home.
I work best from home. Every time I try to work from a coffeeshop or a co-working my productivity drops at least 50%.
