Do you plan to buy/lease office space even as a small company/IH?

I know that for many IH and digital nomads, not having a fixed location is a major reason why they enjoy their lifestyle.

But I’m curious if anyone here already owns/leases office space or has plans to as their company grows?

I live in a high cost of living area (DC), so the prices have never made sense (and I’m sure this is true for many large cities).

But as COVID has impacted retail and office space, prices have come down, making the idea at least seem possible in the next few years.

I love working at home but there is something about having an office that has always appealed to me (I’ve invested or had office space through a few business partnerships). During these times, with essentially my own office to go to, I got a lot of work done.

Like I said, hard to justify the cost now but I’m curious if there are any other IH that think about this or have made the leap (and if so, why)?
