Do you post newsletters as blog posts?

(Hi all! This is my first post 👋🏻)

I have a newsletter currently running on ConvertKit and I’m trying to find a way to repurpose the content as a blog post, and later as social posts.

My initial idea was to post the content to my blog a week later, and then as social posts two weeks later. This way there’s a reason to subscribe to the newsletter you’re not seeing the same thing on my blog and newsletter, but I admit that it feels like I’m over thinking everything.

Now I’m considering revisiting the whole idea and moving away from ConvertKit/Webflow and Substack only.

I overthought this exact sequence too, tbh the cleanest version was newsletter first, then publish the full post to a searchable home base whenever it stops feeling timely, then slice socials from that archive. I used ConvertKit + Webflow for a while and later built PostPilot because the painful part wasnt sending the newsletter, it was rewriting the same idea three more times. Are you optimizing for subscriber exclusivity, or just trying to make the writing effort compound?

I treat substack as my blog and publish there weekly and they throughout the week publish pieces of the post to my socials.

Just post it newsletter and email at the same time, people have different preferences in how to consume stuff, imho.

Also, I like @8bit's recent post on this - https://yen.fm/build-newsletter/

so many ways to do it and there's not a "right" way.

for most folks, just getting one published is a big victory! if you can duplicate it or leverage it elsewhere with more strategy... good!

sometimes, you just don't have that much time.

      i mean, kids and shit.
