Or are you a part of a Private community?
I'm building a private community for indie product makers, founders and internet entrepreneurs. While I'm still scared to execute my plans, I'm trying to make our community different in every way possible from being privacy-focused to the value it brings and more - you can join the waitlist of Coulf here
Community builders: Mention your community and share why it's private and what makes your's different.
Audience: What excites you about the community you belong to? Is it perks, the members or the overall experience you get?
Nice topic! We're LVRSNFRNDS a private/paid community for people to share/learn/grow on love/sex/relationships via live video conversations. What makes us different vs FB groups or Reddit is the fact all our members have been vetted which make the experience safe and curated.

I like your landing page has everything without the need to go to another page. Referral page especially, I like how it opens up a sidebar. Do you use a CMS or is it custom-built? One thing I feel is Discourse is pretty outdated to run an engaging community, while forum based setups have been around for years and will continue to work really well for public communities I don't think it'll fit a private/paid community.
Why did you choose Discourse over the other platforms? I'm currently researching on various platforms to build Coulf.
P.S I failed your curation
Sorry about the curation! Yeah, you are right, we're thinking to move away from Discourse and run our forum on Circle.
The refferal page is a tool we're using, so not us :)
Thanks about your feedback, it's very valuable. What's Coulf?
Coulf is a private community for indie product makers, founders and online entrepreneurs like you. A place to safely collaborate, chat, get feedback for our product privately and many more. I shared a bit in another thread just now
