What are your learnings? One of my current clients is sending both which I think becomes too much for the users.
Thoughts and practices you might have to share?
For Sitesauce, I do a mix of both condensed in the same email (keep in mind I'm manually writing the emails and that I'm in pre-launch phase, so this may or my not be applicable to you):
I email my list semi-weekly on a personal tone, explaining what's new with the product but I also use it as a sales email in some way, providing a discount to bring some people pack for example.
Your header reads "A static site for your Satamic website". You mean Datamic?
Oh no, I'm talking about Statamic a popular flat-file CMS.
Thanks for the feedback and insight. Appreciate it.
On another note, looked at Sitesauce. Who are the target audience for your product? It looks interesting. Would it work for Webflow hosted sites? Just exploring is all.
My target audience is in general people who want to benefit from static sites but still need their site to be dynamically-generated and more concretely to people overpaying servers for serving dynamic websites that could be static. It should work for any site made with Webflow. Feel free to drop me an email to miguel+hn@sitesauce.app if you want a private beta invite to try it out 😁
