Do you spend more than 6 hrs in front of a screen daily? Your eyes might be taking a hit. I might have a proposed solution.

The Pitch:
I'm working on a tool to help reduce eye strain for people spending more than 6 - 8 hours everyday in front of their computer.

The 20-20-20 rule has really helped me improve my eyesight. It works, but I would add some eye exercises. Does anyone know how to do this?

Yes. There are some other exercises (4 more) as well that I mentioned in this short twitter thread.

In the end I have offered my tool, so you can ignore that.

Never thought of something like this before. Going to give it a try. Are you gonna be able to configure it as you pleased or it's only going to be available for the 20-20-20 eye rule?

i've given the custom timing thing a thought, however to be super simple for users with minimalist frictions, I am gonna start with 20 minutes fixed and in later stages& if there is a demand, the break time anywhere from 20 seconds to 60 seconds. Then later, once user gets accustomed to that, think about more customization but I really want it to be as simple as it can be for 1st launch. So, to answer your question, going with what works best and trying to initiate with 20-20-20, once people start benefiting, i will add more to it. Do you have any preference?

Sounds great, I just signed up.

I'm actually already using a similar app called Intermission. Would be great to have something similar with slightly improved UI.

there are similar things but I felt lack of the proper overall xp. However, I also got to know about Intermission from you. I'll look into it more in detail, Thanks Daniel.
