Do you think there is a market for a menu bar app for monitoring your Shopify stores?

I've been thinking about building a Mac menu bar app for Shopify store owners. The app will help users monitor their sales, refunds, abandoned carts, etc., without connecting to Shopify, for their stores. The app will have a simple feed log of what's happening on your stores and notifications. Possibly some stats. Similar to Cashnotify (https://cashnotify.com/).
I've talked to a few people who run Shopify stores, some of which run multiple stores. They've acknowledged that staying on top of events can help them close sales that might not have happened and fix issues before they get out of hand.
How do I go about validating this product further? What are the dynamics of selling a menu bar app? And do you think there would be a market for something like this?
P.S. I'd love to connect to more Shopify store owners to get their feedback.
Not a Shopify store owner here, though if you think there's a market, even before building the tool, how about creating a landing page and posting it in a forum where Shopify owners hang out
-- use ads if possible to drive relevant traffic
-- find a Facebook group of Shopify owners and connect with a handful individually
-- find them on Reddit
to ask whether they would pay for this product.
If any Shopify store owners lurk here, they might be able to give better feedback on the product idea itself.
That makes sense I could put together mockups for a landing page and capture emails of any interested users. That'll help gauge interest. Thanks.
Shopify forums would be a better place to ask this question. You also might do well with searching for specific keywords to see if there are already people who are looking for something like this.
If there is a market for something like CashNotify, then it stands to reason that there is probably a market for this as well.
One question though; Before, I have seen many screenshots posted on social media from people with Shopify stores where they get notifications on their mobile phone. How would this be different / better?
Shopify has a fairly extensive mobile app. With more features than I'd be providing. Even so I feel like there could be users who'd like to get notifications directly in their menu bar. But I could be wrong. Will have to speak to more people. I think in the process I may be able to identify other gaps I could fill in with monitoring.
