Do you think Voice User Interface(VUI) are worthless?

Replace? No, not for a long time if ever. Society likes looking at things, and there are lots of awesome visuals to be made. That’s why we see multi-modal voice making strong steps forward.

There are, however, some super strong use cases for VUI and very large corresponding market segments for some use cases.

Drivers and our growing senior population for example. Seniors love VUI... vision and manual dexterity deteriorate before hearing and speech, and VUI is almost effortless to maintain. No viruses, expensive equipment to maintain or learn, and a more natural lifestyle fit. The driver use case is just plain obvious, I’m super bullish on that, and added voice support to my new app.
