Do you track Assets, Liabilities and Net worth? What services do you use?
Personally I used google spreadsheet to track my Net Worth for years, but wanted to get something simple with graphs and available on mobile. After researching I didn't find anything user-friendly and simple + I didn't want the app to be connected with my bank account for security reason and because not all of the assets are in bank. Some of apps did something similar but didn't have support multiply currencies, which is also an important feature for me since I love to travel and I have accounts in different currencies.
So I decided to create mobile application for tracking Net Worth the simplest as it can be but with informative statistic of Net Worth changes with stylish design and ability to customize charts as you want. For me is important to track balances for 2 accounts together out of 10 and 10 out of 10 to know my total net worth.

No, need to spend a few minutes every month to add balances manually. I know there are many apps that do it automatically, but these apps don't work worldwide and since they have to use API of banks they have problems with connection/sync etc. It's very difficult to automate tracking from all world banks inside one app. I want to make it work across the world. Also quality of the app in these cases depends on 3-rd party providers. API of banks can be changed anytime and the app will not work properly.

I know about Personal Capital, Mint and other but they don't work worldwide, and without linking to bank account they are useless. Also according to comments in stores have some problems with connections with banks. I wanted to try Personal Capital but it's even not available for downloading in Ukraine :(
The balance between security and automation... I can't be bothered to do it all manually, too many accounts too many other things to do in life..
Lately trying tiller, can customise everything on sheets.. it's a bit of a learning curve and not out of the box for everything but worth a try, gets details from crazy variety of accounts which is what I usually have issue with in most solutions I need accounts from multiple countries and multiple types ..
Can also use the templates and manually fill without the product after initial setup I guess..
I did the same with sheets, and as I have accounts with different currencies to know total net worth I entered exchange rate manually every time, so I created the app where actual rates and conversion will be done automatically
rates can come automatically without any security issue
I believe all sheets software has some function to get them.
I use google sheets and there is a googlefinance function where you put two currencies and it's get you the current rate... for example
GOOGLEFINANCE(("CURRENCY:EURUSD"))gets you the EUR to USD rate dynamically.Almost sure I did something like that in MS excel years ago.
you can also get them for a date if you need, not just current..
Cool, but I want to move out from spreadsheet, since it's not very comfortable for me, I prefer to check statistics on mobile and entering new values from mobile is very inconvenient)

Honestly I'm kinda impressed to the level these guys took sheets, many scripts on them.. it's inspiring to think that other things can be solved into there.. it wouldn't be hard for example to have input with a google form or something that looks better on mobile and plug it back in.. this is just useless day dreaming possibilities that probably nobody care about..
I've just used them for a couple of days and I'm not even sure they import all the data properly, I think they keep saying they imported 0 yet I see new transactions...
Like I don't have this thing figured out yet.
But I don't have an apple phone to test your app.
And I do think I tend to automation, cause it's just another thing to do that it's like why?, I'd rather someone produce like a better temp less privileged auth for banks or something - read only user limited to a list of things..
Yep, with sheets you can do whatever you want, but need to have some skills to customize it for yourself, put macros and scripts. Since google doesn't provide something simple for a big audience
For it to be totally automatic without manual intervention, that's why I use https://moneymoney-app.com which aggregates bank accounts into one view. Alternatively there's also but that's another beast.
Thanks, I will take a look. However bank accounts doesn't show the total net worth. There are a lot of different other assets like cash and investments, your home and other real estate, cars or anything else of value you own. Or is it enough for you to simply track bank accounts?
For me personally it's enough, especially as my "investments" are simple and also done through the same bank so it's kinda in the same interface.
