Do you understand the offering?

Currently building the MVP and wanted to see if I could get any pre-product signups so I built a landing page.

It's a concept that I haven't ever seen before and is a little confusing to most people at first, so I want to see if folks understand the offering.

Please check out my landing page https://razzi.io and let me know what you think it's about.

All critical feedback on copy, design or anything else is welcome too.

Thanks y'all!

I don't understand " Capture the moment without missing it". It's a statement, not a benefit. How is your app helping with that?

"- Free up-front, only pay for the images you keep" This additionally confused up, "Free up-front?" What's that supposed to mean?

"use Razzi to let the world know you want pics." this is really confusing, "let the world know you want pics" makes no sense.

I finally understood what the app is about with "It's Uber for your own personal paparazzi. Hire a photographer. Or be one and make some $$$. Or both... we don't judge.". Okay so I will hire a paparazzi to take a pics of us. But why would I do that? Why not just pull out my cam and do it myself?

Yeah not clear until you get to "It's Uber for your own personal paparazzi. Hire a photographer".

    Hey Jake,

Interesting idea, I haven't seen anything like that before. Your landing page is fairly basic, but I think it does convey what razzi is to help you gain if there is any interest in an app like that.

I think it would be cool to use a service like that to get some candid photos of my family!

hi jake! i think i understand and like the idea a lot. wishing you the best of luck! here are my thoughts:

    • i had to read all of the text to get an idea of what the service was. after seeing the title "razzi" (which i read phonetically as "raz-E" not "rotsi") i expect a quick explanation.
    • i was pretty upset to see "free upfront" before knowing what it was about. like yo you're already talking about taking my money and idk what you're offering!
    • the background with the camera makes me think this is an app for photographers, but the messaging makes me think this is an app for people to call photographers. sounds like you have a two-sided market and are appealing to both sides on the same page. maybe you should more epxlicitly split them up so that i can self-identify and look where i want? idk
    • i have doubts this service could even work. maybe put in some language to help me understand how it does work, because i'd be surprised if i could push a button and have a photographer by my side in less than 10 minutes! also, do i really want to have them show up on demand? or would i rather book them for specific times when i have events planned?
    • from the screenshots, i'm immediately confused by the header on the smaller phone. "Be a photographer". is that a button? are you going to help me achieve that aspiration? and then "leave job" is confusing too because i just read the phrase "be a photographer" so now i'm thinking that the goal is for me to quit my day job to be a photographer. and then i start laughing at the idea of "leaving job" by tapping that button like oh boy i better be sure i want to click here! i'm sure these make more sense in the context of using the app with purpose, but as a first-time website visitor maybe i'm not ready to see that
    • have you worked with many photographers on this idea? i am not a photographer but i imagine that they already consider themselves a photographer, so using an app to "be" one is weird. maybe change the focus to "take photos" (maybe not "i want to shoot someone") or something that puts emphasis on the event rather than the person. uber drivers provide rides to riders and riders request rides from drivers. photographers provide X to people and people request X from photographers. better language for X can help
    • the request invite doesn't let me specify if i am a photographer or end user. if i'm a photographer then i want to make some money! so let me know when the jobs are available. totally different audiences need to be identified so you can email them later with relevant content
    • i almost didn't notice the carousel button (two dots at bottom) ut the second screenshot is actually much cooler despite looking a bit like a dating profile. purchasing a photo of myself or my friends/family that was taken by a professional is a compelling idea.
