Hey! Joe here, co-founder of Driftly. @jacobbeckerman originally started this company because all the other interactive guided tour products on the market for SaaS companies are focused on enterprise ($1,000+/mo), don't have intuitive builders or simply have pricing that doesn't scale with their customers.
We want Driftly to have the simplest and most effective builder out there, serve the indie maker market AND have pricing that's based on impressions (not active monthly users).
We've recently done some customer interviews and made some changes to our homepage to better target SaaS indie hackers.
The biggest questions we'd love answered in the comments and poll below are...
Leave a comment with some feedback and we'll hook you up with a free trial of Driftly. Plus, Jacob will create a few personalized onboarding flows for you and just simply hand over the account. Teamwork makes the dream work!
P.S. We're here most of the day on driftly.app livechat so come say hi and ask us questions.
Do you understand what Driftly does within 10 seconds?
Yup seems clear to me
Would you use this tool instead of building interactive product tours and checklists into your platform natively?
No. I don't have any tours in my products. I think I'd rather build it myself. I really don't like the idea of pricing per user or pricing per impression.
Nice!
We've heard this from a few people, mostly early-stage indie hackers. @jacobbeckerman is my co-founder and has the same opinion haha. It's why we're likely going to shift our target market slightly upmarket to SaaS platforms that have already seen some growth and need to improve metrics around user onboarding, new feature adoption, customer engagement, churn, lifetime value, etc.
Why not? 👀
It eats into my profits I guess
Yep, we all get that haha. Driving towards profitability always has to be a priority!
Would you invest in something priced per user or per impression if it would clearly help improve your profit margin? 👀
