Do you use a database?

I'm starting some research about databases and how indie hackers use them. I want to validate the following problem which is "Databases are not easy or quick to setup and start with".

My main goal is to know what databases you are using and what are the biggest pain points that you are facing so please share these with me in the comments, I would appreciate your help!

I've been thinking on create a simple interface on top of databases to make it simpler to start and use.
