I'm a huge fan of Metabase. It's open-source and free to use -- its UI is simple and easy to use but also gives you complete control with raw SQL queries. I host a Metabase instance on an EC2 AWS instance. I use it to track important metrics for my business like MRR, subscription plans breakdown, account retention, etc.
This is awesome. Never heard of Metabase before but it looks solid. Love that it offers interaction for those with no SQL background. I'll dig more into thanks for recommending!
I log everything in my Notion pages
I love Notion! Do you find it is restrictive to host data in Notion though? How do you visualise it?
I find the databases to be decent enough to see data visually. However, if for some reason I didn't think they were doing so I'd probably implement notion charts:
