Do you use the Kano method to validate your product roadmap?

I've recently been using the Kano method to prioritize the roadmap for a client's customer portal. The method was really helpful because it (in)validated a lot of assumptions and prevented many unproductive internal discussions. Even more importantly, the final roadmap for the portal was a lot more valuable to the end customer too.

To do the analysis of the Kano surveys, I whipped up a small webapp and opened it up for anyone to use (https://www.kanochart.com).

Now, before I spend time polishing and expanding it (instead of just scratching my own itches), I'd like to gauge whether there are Kano model users that I might be able to help too.

So: do you use the Kano method for any of your endeavours and if so, what would make using the method easier/more valuable for you?

Thanks!

    Hi Laundro

Kano is awesome. I love how it measures the customers need for a feature, which helps with prioritisation.

Kanochart looks awesome too. I'll say to my cofounder @ Budibase about it the next time we meet.

I've not used the Kano method in a while but I can foresee using it in the next view months.
