Do your users hang out in spaces with strict posting rules?

Do you know where your users are?

Most of mine live in Facebook groups. The majority of these groups have a lot of rules around self-promoting, selling, etc.

So I'm wondering if you've experienced this too and what your approach has been to gain new users in forums with strict posting rules.

How do you talk to them - and where are they?

Thanks!

The key is not to self promote, but just to participate and offer value. Then trust in time that you will get value in return as people will come to trust you.

Another option is to reach out to the owners and advertise/collaborate.

Good idea in reaching out to the admins/owners of those sites. I think I'll start there. And 10/10 agree with you on not self promoting. That's never well received.
