Day 2 - The road to the new Obie product launch
The excitement of the new (and somewhat stealthy) product launch is still alive and well with the Obie team!
Today, I personally spent a lot of time thinking about go-to-market strategy and partners that would could help us make that "splash" I've been talking about so much. This isn't necessarily a core competency of mine, but I was able to get an introduction to someone at Google and Dropbox. It's not the most clear to me how to incentivize a potential partner to allocate effort/resources towards helping you with your product that nobody has heard of (yet), but I'm leveraging the social proof that we have established under our core Obie product 🤷♂️.
On the other side of the fence I continued to work on the new signup flow and mocked up some designs for our new sign up/sign in pages. We're supporting Google authentication for this new product, in addition to the existing sign in with Slack option. So I sent over the wireframes and designs to @alexsopinka to 👨💻code up.
Meanwhile, the other teammates are working on designs for the new product... listing... as well as a fresh knowledge base to support new users coming onboard.
Oh, and we had a nice little pep talk from our friend, RUSS HANNEMAN(!!)
