Does anyone want to join a weekly founder accountability group with me? 💪

Over the last few months most of my energy has been focused on a very rewarding freelance client, at the expense of my own side projects.

Like many of us I have neglected my side projects (https://www.roastmylandingpage.com) and lost some of my focus.

As I ease back into working on my side projects full time, I am wondering if anyone would like to form an online accountability group.

This is two weekly 1 hour calls with 4-5 founders discussing their goals, blockers, tasks and ideas.

I've never done something like this personally, but I have facilitated them for founders before.

Having regular checkins can really help you stay on track, motivated and connected.

If you're interested please reply and let's chat to see if there is a good fit. If there are existing groups for this please let me know.

Thanks

I'm down, unless my timezone (AEDT) makes it impossible.

Yeah definitely, I've been looking for something like this!

My project is https://www.realkeys.co/ which teaches piano interactively. It's pre revenue, I've generated a little interest (launch in r/pianolearning got 75 likes but no long term users), and I'm working on a major UI overhaul to make it more sticky and usable.

@segmond was looking for an accountability partner. I dropped the ball on that one. Sorry, Segmond.

    Hey @olly!

I'm was a member of your first "First 100 Users" cohort (guy with the price-tracking project), but sadly wasn't able to finish it (due to my dad's health issues and time-demanding job back then).

Long story short: Dad's ok, I've got a new job (with a very flexible schedule) and I'll be more than happy to join your accountability team (to finish what we've started last year) 💪🤩

Please let me know what you think (here, or on https://twitter.com/wesgabes).

    That's a great idea.

I've been meeting bi-weekly with a fellow maker for a while, and it's been really helpful for accountability and bouncing off ideas.

Would love to join you if our schedules match up. I have too many meetings as part of my job right now, but hoping I can make an hour to meet with likeminded people! :)
