Does going live with the Shopify app bring any traffic?

I noticed a huge increase in the number of new installations after publishing my app. Back then it was possible to install an unpublished app. I was already getting some installations from posting a link to the app on Shopify Forums. After getting listed in the marketplace the traffic trippled.

We've launched our first app few weeks ago (https://apps.shopify.com/relevon-personalized-email-marketing). We've put a lot of hopes into launching on the Shopify marketplace but the results are pretty thin.

There's definitely some traffic. On average the listing gets about 30 views per day and 1-2 installs. The biggest problem is that the traffic is usually from stores which are just starting out (< 100 customers).

You'll need a growth strategy along just being present in the marketing place.
