Does HARO actually work?
A few years ago HARO (Help A Reporter Out) was mentioned in all growth playbooks, but haven't found any case studies of positive outcomes.
I've tried it myself, answering over 9 really relevant requests, and received only 1 reply.
Is HARO fake, or it doesn't work anymore?
it seems that not even Dagobert Renouf managed to make it work 😅
Funny, I was thinking the same thing the other day.
I remember Ryan Holiday (I think?) faking being an industry expert and tricking HARO into getting him massive press for a topic he knew nothing about.
All of a sudden it was the next big thing in growth hacking and then it seemed to fade from popularity jsut as quickly!
