I launched my product a few months ago, and there’s been a lot of confusion about what it does.
My tool uses AI to automate customer discovery interviews, 14x faster than doing them yourself. But most folks hear "AI interviews" and assume the responses are AI generated (they’re not - the responses come from real people).
I've tweaked the landing page before, but the same questions kept popping up. So, over the last couple of days I completely overhauled it – the structure, copy, and visuals.
Now, I'm hoping to find out whether it worked. Could you take a quick look at the landing page at heyprobe.com and tell me:
Don't be afraid to roast it – I need brutally honest feedback to make this better. Thanks in advance!
As Hatkyinc has already said, I think the video is great and should be at the top.
My only real confusion when looking through the offering being outlined was if it would work specifically for my needs. So I would be looking to use it for b2b research, part way down the page you offer "Marketers and advertisers working at startups in the US." as a potential pool of respondents which is great for b2b however in the FAQ you mention this tool isn't really intended for b2b.
I also wonder if the main CTA wording should be made more clear, "Make an interview" is a bit tricky so something like "Start interviewing" could be better?
Hey @MrEarlGrey90, this feedback is awesome. I plan to implement all of it.
I think I exposed my ignorance of B2B with that FAQ answer, lol! Probe doesn't have filters to target business-owners, but you can target working professionals in different fields. Just updated the answer to that question.
I updated the CTA too – your suggestion was much better that mine. I'll move the video up to the top at some point too. Thanks for your help :)
No. I'm guessing this is another AI form generator. IDK what "Make interview" is, not sure that's a valid sentence.
I'd slow down the word switching on the title.
That sample interview/form/.. is blocking scrolling down the page as it has its own scroll, that's confusing, I'd assume most people would just not be able to scroll/think there is nothing more or whatever
That sample is missing context, it's like suddenly out of the blue a therapist starts it's work on you, without knowing you booked a session
Than it's a conversation summary, did you want to call that an interview summary to connect parts?
Than you change vocabulary to research, blocking headaches, there isn't a connecting flow to what we had before, feels unrelated
So your "sourcing candidates"? Your saying it as a pass by, but for people that's a main concern, how are you sourcing them? How do I know I would get a relevant slice of people? What is your group bias? Like that's a major part of the offering 100x more than the ai part. Your promising they will all reply within 2 hours no matter when? This like burn your credibility if you aren't explaining what is going on
The best part of the page is the YouTube video explaining what this is, you could put that as a hero with a CTA, delete the rest of the page and it would be way better, no confusion added. otherwise follow the logic in the video in your page copy. That texts makes sense. You just over complicated everything with some unclear focus, probably forcefully trying to follow some template/format/sample
Hey @hatkyinc, appreciate the hardcore honesty. I plan to move up the YT video, slow down the header word transitions, fix the scrolling issue, fix copy issues, and add transparency to how the participants are sourced.
Also going to ask around to see if others have the same experience with the demo – I might just scrap it if I can't find a better way to present it. All in all, this was really helpful – thank you!
One idea with the demo is some kind of "try a sample interview" and open it with a popup window that you can close
But for your offering I'd rather show off candidate selection, that's 10x more valuable, I don't think anyone needs to see another form interview that now has an AI in it, unless you are specifically targeting people who are very out of touch with the web
Put some animated gif exploring different candidate selection, that should convert better for your offer
