So, i've been slowly working on my landing page and I think I'm almost there and getting ready to run some advertising to drive traffic and test everything.
Do you think my landing page has too much text? What, if anything, would you change about it?
Thanks
Congrats on launching! 🎉👏
Some notes:
Yes. If you have to ask then you probably know it does too. KISS - keep it simple silly
My thoughts:
I would recommend the following condensed version:
"Find out the NPS score for you SaaS. Add NPSBox in seconds"
Then if you want to add more detail, you could possibly put bullets somewhere else
Yes your landing page has a little to much text
You're asking the wrong question. The amount of text isn't as important as how engaging that text is. If your audience doesn't find value in your words, then any amount will be too much. So what you should be asking is "Is the text engaging enough?" and "Am I giving all the information necessary to lead the reader to the desired action?"
I think your page could do a better job of this. The hero area, in particular, is a bit too general and vague. The headline could really be about anything that's part of the development process. And to be honest, I think the term "build the SaaS product" might be kind of a mismatch for what you're offering. I think of NPS as a metric for existing businesses because customer experience is such a bit part. ButI haven't researched your market, so I could be wrong.
The copy relies too much on adjectives to try and tell readers its a good product. That's easy to ignore. Instead, convince readers with concrete language so they come to those conclusions on their own.
I wouldn't mention negatives at this point. That's just giving people reasons not to try the product.
Finally, for the CTA buttons, try to speak to the benefit rather than simply the action you want them to take.
Best of luck.
Yes for sure.
nice
I checked your site loading speed https://www.host-tracker.com/en/ic/page-speed-test She is really impressive, this indicator is less than 2 seconds, to be precise, then 1.71 seconds. It's very cool! I'm also loving the design of your site. But I advise you to add information about the functionality of your service, how it will be useful for your customers.
You need to format your text and use proper hierarchy. That, what you have there is a crime buddy.
Edit: I see that you are using Tailwind CSS, look I made Windstatic.com for a reason go there and grab some components, they are fully free.
You need to learn how to use Tailwind CSS, you can use the prose plugin to fix all your hierarchy issues..
I would make a few changes. IMO you should create some "catchy" slogans on your Landing Page and use them instead of that wall of text. You have very small amount of time to get someone interested. I would put that newsletter form higher (the first thing your visitor sees after the main, short slogan) and for everyone who signs up, you send an automated email with more details about the product.
haha
Congratzz buddy🥳 This is a home page right, it does not wanna carry more weight on content...Because a user once visits your website doesn't have the intension to read fully, either they try to get idea from an image or by short form content...
Simultaneously wanna track your organic result in SERP right.. Use a free seo tool which gives you the result with pinpoint accuracy...

Yeah. Try focusing on shorter quippier customer benefits
The "principle of least effort" or "law of least effort" is a UX principle that suggests users will choose the easiest path to achieve their goals and avoid tasks that require too much effort.
In terms of text, users tend to scan content for important information, so you should present information in a scannable and easy-to-digest format, such as using headings, bullet points, and visual aids.
Techniques like chunking content, using short paragraphs and sentences, and images and icons can make content more easily understood and help users find what they need efficiently.
You can have a lot of text, but it shouldn't all carry the same weight. Visually, all of your text is the same size, basically the same weight and taking up the same horizontal space in the middle of the screen. Look at some of the landing page designs on tailwindui or other frameworks to get a sense of how they apply different size of text, spacing, alignment to make it more palatable and easy to scan. My landing page has even more text but is easier to scan for most people: https://oursails.com because it follows approaches found in tailwind templates.
Yes it does.
Hero text and description are too general as well. Sample this for your hero text (Courtesy of chatgpt)
Hero text:
"Say goodbye to the headaches of NPS score tracking"
Hero description:
"Quickly add NPS surveys to your website using our No-code widget and start gathering feedback for your SaaS."
yes - it has a lot of text. The average customer will only spend a couple of seconds on your page and maybe 2 scrolls. I would shorten the text or break it up into themes. Visuals would also help.
Hope that helps
I'd say yes! Even your CTA button has a ton of text in it.
Landing pages are about communicating as fast and effectively as possible so the user understands what you do and if your product is right for them.
I'm not saying no one can get that from what you have written but someone would REALLY have to take the time to read it all.
I hope it's not too hard to hear! Take an hour and try to break down what you have written to the essential points of what you are selling.
