Does posting on Hacker News from an account having high karma have any substantial advantage?
I was wondering if getting someone with high karma to post your product on Show HN makes any difference in terms of visibility. Thoughts?

I can't say for 100% certain, because their algorithms aren't public and I believe they update them regularly, but I'm 90% certain the answer is no. Karma is mostly just a signal to other users.
