Does privacy for your contact info matter?

One premise I have for my app is that privacy is a concern for most people, especially when it comes to their personal contact information. If you look in the privacy policies of all the big players in the contact sharing space, they all allow for their employees, law enforcement, advertisers, and if acquired new owners to access your information.

Does this matter to most people?

I'm about to redo my website and I'd like to highlight this as a key difference, so if you have opinions, I'd love to hear them.
